Soundproofing

Soundproofing

Modern high-performance magnetic resonance tomographs require effective sound insulation of the surrounding components in order to avoid disturbances caused by sound transmissions to the horizontally and vertically adjacent rooms.

The principle:
• Soundproof HF door
• Soundproof RF window
• Partition for manufacturing spring/mass system
• Soundproof cabin construction
• Soundproofed, decoupled cabin floor
• Body noise reduction elements for MRI
• Sound-absorbing partition
• structure-decoupled ceiling hangers

In order to reduce airborne and body noise, various cavity damping measures are selected, depending on requirements. The aim is, among other things, to produce a low-impact spring/mass system. Mass enhancement materials and sylomer bearings under the cabin floor and MRI are also used.

RF doors adapted to the respective situation and high-sound-insulating RF windows are also an integral part of the overall concept.
